For pregnant women

Bikram Hot Yoga can help pregnant women stay fit without impact exercises and can naturally relieve aches and pains that result from carrying added weight with a different center of gravity for nine months.

In fact, Rajashree Choudhury has developed specially modified postures just for pregnant women. (We strongly recommend you practice those modifications in the back of the room, where it’s cooler.)

There are some precautions we recommend taking and modified postures we recommend your practicing.

If you do, you should feel every bit as good as one pregnant mother, who wrote, “I am currently 29 weeks pregnant and from the day I found out I was pregnant I switched to the pregnancy poses.  I have had absolutely no problems throughout my pregnancy and feel so wonderful after yoga (I average 4 times per week).”
